Outstanding length and persistence of flavour. Perfectly balanced.
The nose is already displaying complexity with perfumed aromas of blackberry, liquorice allsorts and confectionary followed by some pepper and vanillin end notes.
The palate is that rare Barossa interplay of finesse and power. It refrains from relying solely on sheer size and extraction like so many other Barossan extravaganzas. Full bodied, with generous mouthfilling flavours of blackberry, blackpepper and liquorice followed by some vanilla and confectionary with the blackpepper persisting onto the back palate.
