FRANKLAND ESTATE 'NETLEY ROAD' RIESLING 2010, 750ml (Bottle)
- A 44-year-old vineyard, the Netley Road vineyard, located a mere 1km from Frankland Estate, was planted in 1966 and was one of the first vineyards in the Great Southern region.
- The nose shows hints of talc and soil driven elements, almost shy the wine opens and becomes very expressive on the palate with hits of lemon, fine acids with rich citrus fruits, this fills the mouth with complex spice and fruit notes.
- The wine has power and weight through the length of the palate with hints of talc, lime and a very fine thread of acidity that leads to a wine with a polished yet generous finish. An underlying creamy texture gives further generosity to this vibrant, racy wine.
