Kalleske JMK Shiraz is sourced from select blocks of the Kalleske vineyard, including the renowned 'Greenock' block. A combination of young and old (up to 15 years) brandy spirit is used to fortify the wine, ensuring added complexity. Following fortification, the wine is matured in well seasoned hogsheads for 2 years.
Enticing aromas of anise, clove, violets, marzipan and plum.
These superb pure fruit flavours continue on the palate which is luscious, rich and full bodied with deep intensity. The palate is harmonious with moderate sweetness, balanced alcohol and a velvety mouthfeel. Will benefit from a decade or two in the cellar.
This is Rolf Binder's Flagship wine and the experience will be a memorable one.
This Shiraz is opaque dark purple and opens with a brilliantly perfumed and intense ripe blackberry bouquet with hints of pipe tobacco.
A deep red-purple, this is a very rich fruit-forward wine, showing some oak and spice. An immediate attack of fruit with depth. It is not overpowering, but harmonious, with a rich core of firmness that makes it stand out. A great wine with harmony and depth, and a lovely persistence of fruit.

There are glowing notes of brown spice with darker liquorice too on the nose.
Spending two weeks on skins after a 40% bunch crush on stems, has resulted in a complex mesh of vivid, spice-driven Mourvedre fruit, earthy complexity and lithe tannins.
A pure, wild, powerful nose of blackberry and tar is complimented by a gentle floral lift of lavender and violets.
Full-bodied with great concentration, silky tannins and perfectly judged extract, this vigorous and suave young wine has a long, long future ahead of it.
