  • Aromas of fresh lemon blossom / mineral backdrop, laced with honeysuckle while developing toasty/butterscotch nuances.
  • The palate has retained fine acidity with a finish that is still fresh while beautifully balanced.

  • Notes above from the last vintage release (2007). New vintage notes to follow release.
  • Lifted confectionary, ripe plum and blackberry notes followed by some mocha displaying good intensity a more McLaren Vale like sniff than traditional Hunter Valley.
  • On the palate there are joosy flavours of ripe plum, blackberry, dark chocolate and liquorice allsorts followed by some spice on the back palate. Very fine grained tannins with long aftertaste of blackberry, blackpepper, spice and toast.

  • The wine should be enjoyed now however it has wonderful ageing potential over 5-6 years.
  • Aromas of dried apricots, lemon spice and cr brulee, with some marmalade overtones are present.
  • Medium bodied but luscious, with creamy apricot kernel and marmalade flavours. Rich fruit sweetness is well balanced with zingy fruit acids.
