Highlights

  • Deep crimson purple; the frost and smoke ravaged 07 vintage resulted in a journey to Heathcote to bolster the make; sensitive and experienced winemaking has produced the goods, even if the wine is more luscious than the usual more elegant style. Screwcap. Rating 94 Drink 2021 James Halliday

"This Shiraz Viognier comes from one of the oldest & highest perf..."

This Shiraz Viognier comes from one of the oldest & highest performing wineries in the Yarra. Tom Carson winemaker has done well producing a lush, light & spicy drop. Savoury notes, earthy tannins & great aromatics makes this an absolute joy to drink. Usually made from 100% Yarra fruit, this one differs due to bushfires & frost, surrounding Heathcote wineries donated parcels of their fruit so Yering Station could still produce this little gem.
