This had more rose petal and Turkish delight than the 'Rheingau'. The ?Kiedricher? is left to hang on the vines for a month longer, comes from older and steeper vineyards and is cropped at lower yields. This contributes to a wine of greater concentration and mouth feel. You just don't find the same finesse in Australian Rieslings. This is almost Spatlese in quality and will be a delight to look at in 7-8 years with a conservative drinking window of up to 15 years.
