The prize for Australia's greatest Riesling/Gewurz/P Gris/Chardonnay blend goes to.... Seriously good, sounds wrong but tastes oh so good. A wine made for pure enjoyment the textured palate (yes it is aged in old oak) adds a sense of seriousness to this light-hearted blend. Do not underestimate the quality of this wine just because it sounds so funky!
Riesling/Gewurtztraminer/Pinot Gris/Chardonnay blend, layered pears and florals on the nose. Good zippy acid, but well rounded with texture from lees stirring pulling it into balance. Pays homage to the Alsace ancestors through rich texture. All components harmonized so none dominate. Very drinkable, has substance and interest.
