A perfect celebratory sparkler! Creamy textured apple and citrus flavours come through making this a lively yet full bodied classy number matching any Euro sparkling wine but at an affordable price. Great with yabbies or crayfish.

I drank a bottle of Elstree sparkling the other night and this is the dream I had... " ... a mad Frenchman, with a Bollinger trilby hat I think, came running towards me with a 'sacre bleu, zut alors and the odd 'bof', incensed by the empty bottle of Elstree in the recycling bin. He grabbed it threateningly and finally flung it at me like an Aussie cover point, missing my head by yards. Undismayed he grabbed my pyjama lapels and yelled in my ear.. 'zis will be the end of us, ze end of Champagne, ze end of La Civilisation itself'. Then his features melted like the gestapo agent at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark, his final sound being a satisfying, disgorgement-like 'pop'. It was a really good bottle of NZ bubbles. I recommend it highly.
