"This is a serious merlot for lovers of the varietal. Structured,..."

This is a serious merlot for lovers of the varietal. Structured, deep plums & savoury tannins combine to make this Margaret River wine absolutley moorish. It is drinking great now but will age well for the next 10 years or more.

"Managing director and founder of Chalice Bridge winery "Rob Edin..."

Managing director and founder of Chalice Bridge winery "Rob Edinger" says the 2008 vintage is the best Merlot they have ever made. If you want to start enjoying Reds and usually drink "white" this is the perfect Red wine to start with, if you are already drinking Reds and Merlot in particular then this is the perfect buy. Drink now and also has plenty of time in the cellar to age.

"Want an amazing Australian Merlot for an equally amazing price? ..."

Want an amazing Australian Merlot for an equally amazing price? I didnt believe it either until I tried the Chalice bridge "The Quest" Single vinyard Merlot.Varietal plum aromas and some lovely chocolate from the oak and georgeous tannins following through. A real easy to drink crowd pleaser! I challange any wine drinker to turn this one down. A Winner! The '07 was in James Hallidays 'Top 1oo wines of 2010' and scored 95 points - and this one is no exception.
