Reviews

"A keeper"

A stunner. Higher in alcohol than a traditional Hunter Semillon, but holds it all in balance and presents as a classic in every other way. Tight and lemony now, this will reward 5 years or more in the cellar, by which time it will deserve an even higher score.

"This is why Hunter Semillon is famous!"

This wine is the perfect example of why Hunter Valley Semillon is famous. Fantastic fruit structure & striking acid. It is refreshing and interesting in its youth. I have been fortunate enough to try many vintages of this wine in various stages of their lives & can confidently say that with time this will continue to evolve & gain complexity & intrigue. The perfect wine to grab a dozen of & have one each year to watch it grow.
