ANDREW THOMAS 'KISS' SHIRAZ 2009, 750ml (Bottle)

  • Notes above from the last vintage release (2007). New vintage notes to follow release.
  • Lifted confectionary, ripe plum and blackberry notes followed by some mocha displaying good intensity a more McLaren Vale like sniff than traditional Hunter Valley.
  • On the palate there are joosy flavours of ripe plum, blackberry, dark chocolate and liquorice allsorts followed by some spice on the back palate. Very fine grained tannins with long aftertaste of blackberry, blackpepper, spice and toast.

BINDI 'COMPOSITION' PINOT NOIR 2010, 750ml (Bottle)

  • This wine spent just under eleven months in barrel, 20% new and was on lees for nine months. Michael Dhillon
  • The nose provides bright red fruits (raspberry, cherry and strawberry), beautiful sweetness and perfume with complex earth and mineral elements. The level of fragrant, Pinot purity is quite wonderful and is enhanced by spicy barrel nuances.
  • The palate is lavish and textural to begin then has mineral drive and grippy tannins. It is a balanced, firm and long wine. There is a delicious combination of flavour, texture and structure. It is a very pleasurable wine now but will be more complex and silky in five years time.
